Filly Rachel Alexandra is the winner of the 134th Preakness Stakes! With the rain beginning to come down right before post time, the handicappers were in a frenzy. The grandstands at Pimlico Racetrack in Baltimore, Maryland, were full of horse enthusiasts as the Win/Place/Show finishers crossed the line, completing the second leg of the Triple Crown. The top three finishers for the 2009 Preakness Stakes are Rachel Alexandra, Mine That Bird and Musket Man.

The second leg of the Triple Crown is over, with the running of the 141st running of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y. The "Test of the Champion," is the final and most demanding leg of the Triple Crown and is also the longest race in the series, at 1 1/2 miles.
