Big Brown Favorite to Win Kentucky Derby Prep Race

This Kentucky Derby prep race is sparking a lot of interest with entries such as the undefeated Big Brown and definite contenders Elysium Fields, Face the Cat, Majestic Warrior and Hey Byrn.
Big Brown’s getting a lot of attention due to the impressive two wins he has under his belt. In his first start at Saratoga on Sept. 3, he won by an incredible 11 1/4 lengths. After such an impressive debut, Big Brown took his second win of two starts with another outstanding win by 12 3/4 lengths in a one-turn mile race on March 5th.
The Florida Derby will be crucial in Big Brown’s career. It will be his first stakes race and the only prep race prior to the Kentucky Derby. In order to continue forward, he will need to finish at least second.
