Six exciting races at Keeneland in Lexington, KY, and Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Canada, will be televised on Saturday, Oct. 4, and each will guarantee the winner a spot in the Breeders' Cup World Championships.

At Keeneland, Terrain and Advice are among the 2-year-olds scheduled to run in the $500,000 Gr. 1 Lane's End Breeders' Futurity, a qualifier for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile. In the $600,000 Shadwell Turf Mile, a Gr. 1 turf race for 3-year-olds and up, Rahy's Attorney is expected and is one of the frontrunners after a win in the Woodbine Mile earlier this month. Bernard Baruch Handicap champion Shakis has also been nominated for this event.

At Woodbine, watch fillies and mares 3 years old and up run 1 ¼ miles on turf in the $1M Gr. 1 E.P. Taylor Stakes, including the French-based Toque de Queda. Two-year-olds will have their turn in the spotlight in the $300,000 Summer Stakes, a Gr. 3 1-mile turf race. The $500,000 Gr. 2 Nearctic Stakes will feature sprinters 3 years old and up running 6 furlongs on turf; last year's winner, Heros Reward, has been nominated. And finally, in Canada's richest race, the $2M Canadian International, Champs Elysees, Quijano, Doctor Dino and Seaside Retreat are among the 3-year-olds and up expected for this 12-furlong turf race.
