Brooklyn Breeders' Cup Results

Today's Brooklyn Breeders' Cup proved to be a no-brainer, as the best horse in the race, Wanderin Boy, was able to capture the win. The race proved to show little drama as Wanderin Boy took an early lead, and kept that lead right to the finish. The 1 1/2 length victory was followed by Awesome Twist, who placed second, and Reverberate who finished 3 1/2 lengths back in third. This race marks the 7th victory in 13 careers starts for Wanderin Boy.

In other news for the day, Win McCool captured her first Stakes race today, at the this the second Stakes race of the weekend at Belmont Park, The Floral Park Handicap. Living up to her regal bloodlines, Win McCool drew herself a 1 1/2 length victory, netting her owners a cool $110,900 Grade 3 Stakes win.
