Evening Attire Looks to Breeders' Cup Challenge

At 10 years old, Evening Attire is just getting started. Having earned a win in last Saturday's Greenwood Cup Stakes at Philadelphia Park, the gelding automatically earned a spot in October's Breeders' Cup Marathon at Santa Anita Park.

With a massive 8 1/4-length victory in the Greenwood Cup Stakes, Evening Attire moved up on the inside and easily won the 1 1/2-mile race in 2:29.90.

Sired by 1991 Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) winner and Horse of the Year Black Tie Affair (Ire), Evening Attire finished his 2007 season with a win in the Queen's County Handicap (G3), posting his 15th victory from 69 starts.
