The 2010 $750K Santa Anita Handicap has no clear favourite in the field, and this has attracted a big field of 14. The Big Cap will be run on Saturday if weather conditions hold up, and the horses that will likely be at the front of the pack at the wire are St Trinians, Loup Breton, and Misremembered.

St Trinians is looking to be the first female to win the Big Cap in 73 renewals, and is only in the race to avoid undefeated Zenyatta in the upcoming Santa Margarita Invitational on March 13. She has four straight wins in Southern California, most recently in the Santa Maria.

Loup Breton has two wins in three starts since coming over from Ireland. The six-year-old will be trying a synthetic surface for the first time in the Big Cap. He will break from the sixth spot and will be ridden by Garrett Gomez.

Misremembered is coming off three consecutive second-place finishes and will have to overcome a wide draw in the 13th post.
