Since then he’s collected wins in the Fountain of Youth Stakes and the Florida Derby. He’s earned over $600K and has established himself as a top Derby contender after beating favorite Dunkirk in the Florida Derby.
He’s ridden by John R. Velazquez and was doubtful for the Derby after suffering a quarter-crack in his Florida Derby win. But he recently posted a quick six-furlong work in 1:12 2/5 over the Belmont track, and looks ready to go in the Running of the Roses.
