Ten three-year-old horses will face off in the $150K La Jolla Handicap on the Del Mar's  Jimmy Durante Turf Course. I’ll Show Them will be the morning line favorite and puts his unbeaten streak on the line. David Hofmans broke his maiden June 13 on the Hollywood Park Cushion Track at 6 1/2 furlongs.

The Victor Gallop Rendezvous is winless on grass and has only won three of 11 starts. Others include Mark S the Cooler who’s coming off a runner-up finish at Oceanside. Richard Mandella’s New Bay has two wins in four starts. Also in the race is Gretsky, a winner for Neil Drysdale July 24 at Del Mar. The 1 1/16 race will take place Saturday at 5:30 pm.

The heaviest weighted horses in the race are Rendezvous and Mark S the Cooler at 117lbs. The rest of the field sits between 113 and 116 lbs.
