If you’re looking for an edge in Friday's Grade 2, $150,000 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes at Saratoga you should look no further than Bill Mott. He’s won the race five times and has two capable horses running in it this year. One of them is Courageous Cat, who has won his last two races including the A Gift Stakes at Belmont Park on July 19.

The other horse to watch out for in this deep field is Sal the Barber. He has two wins on turf, with one at Gulfstream from off the pace and the other a front-running dominance in the Don Jack Stakes at Belmont. He is 2 for 2 at the Hall of Fame distance of 1 1/8 miles. Others with a good chance to win are Straight Storey and Take the Points. Straight Storey is coming off of two consecutive second-place finishes.
