Peppers Pride to 15th Straight Win

The unbeaten the 5-year-old Peppers Pride is one win away from tying the modern-day record for most consecutive wins when she won the $100,000 Sydney Valentini Handicap at Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino March 23rd for her 15th straight win.

The Thoroughbred record is 16 consecutive wins held jointly by 1948 Triple Crown winner Citation, Cigar, Mister Frisky and Hallowed Dreams.

Peppers Pride earned $60,000 on Sunday March 23rd to bring her lifetime earnings to $816,665 in a perfect 15 straight record.
