Hall of Fame horse trainer Bob Baffert is counting on Misremembered to help him capture the one trophy missing from his shelf -- the Malibu Stakes.

"He needs more ground, but he's working well," Baffert said. "Shortening up is not his bag, but good horses can win going seven-eighths. He worked great the other day. We've got to take a shot for a Grade 1 at $300,000."
