The $500K Sword Dancer Invitational will be an attempt at an elusive three-peat for the six-year-old Grand Couturier. He has won the last two Sword Dancer Invitational races and looks to make history if he can do it one more time. If you don’t want to cheer for that to happen you can cheer for the 10-year-old Better Talk Now to become the first horse of that age to win a Grade 1 race on the flats at the Spa.

The other six horses in the field all have a chance to win the 1 1/2 miles over Saratoga's inner turf course. If the pace is slow we could see a win from one of the speed horses. Musketeer is coming off a second-place finish to Gio Ponti in the Man o' War. Breaking from post 10, Musketeer is likely to be on the lead early again under Jono Jones.
