A-Rod Changes Sports

Having lost out of the World Series race in the first round, Yankees player Alex Rodriguez has decided that maybe putting all his eggs in one basket was not the best idea. Since baseball isn't working out for him (yeah right) he decided to try his hand at poker. Aided by poker pro and notorious complainer Phil Helmuth, A-Rod tried his luck in the underground poker rooms. There's no word yet on whether we can expect Rodriguez to be adding a WSOP bracelet to his jewelry collection but the Yankees cautioned him that playing poker could be harmful and dangerous to his image. Just what do they think being a virtual no-show in the ALDS is doing for his image?
