APT Philippines will get underway on January 27 and will run until February 1. There’ll be over a dozen events running between $180 and $300 to enter, as well as satellite action for the main event and as many sit-and-go tournaments as the crowd can demand. There will be a $460, 13-card poker tournament on January 31, and FHM will host the media/celebrity event, with all the proceeds going to charity, on the 27.

The main event will have a $2500 buy-in and will start on January 29. It will run for four days, and the final table will be played out on the first. For the high rollers there will also be a $50,000 minimum cash game played on the first. This year’s action should attract even more big-name poker players than it did last year considering they are all at the Aussie Millions just prior to these  APT events.
