The US Thanksgiving weekend wrapped up last night with Bodog Poker's weekly $100,000 Guaranteed online poker tournament. With 729 players turning out for the event, the massive overlay provided by Bodog really gave online poker players something juicy to end their weekend of thankfulness.

Many of the players took advantage of Bodog's Thanksgiving Special $100k qualifier to get into the tournament, giving even more value to the tournament payout. Taking full advantage of that was online poker player "balla686," who took home $23,600 for his win.

"Balla686" (known also as "mtrau686" online) is a consistent winner in the Bodog Poker room and has racked up more than $100,000 in winnings in the Bodog Poker room over the past two years and looks to keep that pace up going into 2009.
