CardPlayer Magazine just put up an interview they did with Bodog poker pro David Williams while he was at the Commerce Casino for the WPT LA Poker Classic. In it they talk to him about the beginnings of his card-playing career, his 2006 $1,500 Seven-Card Stud WSOP bracelet win and the strategy for playing that particular brand of poker and the inaugural Bodog Poker Open.

As expected, it looks like all three Bodog pros, Williams, Josh Arieh and Evelyn Ng, will be coming out for the BPO events. Here is what DW had to say about that:

Fortunately, they scheduled the series when there are no major poker tournaments going on. The Bay 101 starts the day after the final hands, and the other ones don’t overlap; there’s pretty much dead space on the live tournament circuit, which will make it easy for all of us — Evelyn , Josh , and me — to play in every event. I’ve got the funds waiting in my account that I’ve saved to play in all of the events, and I’m looking forward to it, so I think you’ll see us in every event.

You should definitely check out the rest of the article as there's some great Stud strategy and insight into one of the game's best players.

If you want to play with Josh, Evy and DW in the tournaments this week, head over to the poker tournament schedule page and take a peek at the BPO schedule.
