Day 2A of the 2009 WSOP Main Event is Underway

Today the 2009 WSOP Main Event continues its inexorable march toward crowning the November Nine with the start of Day 2A. Today will feature those players who made it out of Day 1A and Day 1B for a total of 1,476 players.

Play is underway in the Amazon Room and you can definitely feel the change in atmosphere from the carnival-like joviality of Day 1 to a more focused concentration here in Day 2.

Speaking of the Day 1, both Team Bodog qualifiers - Robert "xVOSSx" Voss (15,150) and Ben"pokerfanx789" Nathanson (19,550) - made it through the minefield of Day 1D yesterday and will play Day 2B tomorrow. Unfortunately, Bodog Poker pro David Williams did not. Maybe the freezing cold room and constant moving had somethign to do with it.
