EPT Budapest Heads into Day 2 with 182 Poker Players Remaining

When all was said and done 532 poker players had ponied up their €4,350 buy-in over two flights of Day 1 to take part in the EPT Budapest event. Of those players, there are now only 182 remaining and Mauro Corsetti is leading the way with 136k in chips. However, as we mentioned above, EPT announcer Kara Scott is also still in the running with 20k in chips and much nicer to look at, even though she may not last too much longer.
In between those two are a slew of other well-known players who have survived to play in Day 2, including Luca Pagano (23,500), UK online poker pro Christopher "moorman1" Moorman (25,600), Andreas Krause (29,500), Danny "THE_D_RY" Ryan (36,400), Paul Testud (66,500), Johnny Lodden (70,000), Sorel Mizzi (74,900) and 2007 WSOP Europe champion Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad (101,300), who is the last person that Corsetti wants to see lurking behind him.
The players will wade their way through eight one-hour levels today on their way toward the money bubble, which will most likely burst later on this evening. They will be vying for a share of the $2.7 million prize pool, which will be divvied up between the top 56 finishers with $778k going to first place.
