In anticipation of the 2009 WSOP Main Event Final Table (the "November Nine"), ESPN is kicking off a weekly online poker news show that will feature some of the biggest players in the game and cover poker news as well as taking an inside look at the lifestyle in the world of poker.
Named the Inside Deal, the show debuts next Tuesday, August 4, and will be co-hosted by ESPN The Magazine contributor Laura Lane (super hot as a brunette), professional poker player and ESPN.com columnist Bernard Lee and ESPN.com poker editor Andrew Feldman.
The series runs for three months and will finish when the World Series of Poker Main Event final table does. To prepare viewers for the November Nine, they will interview and analyze each of the remaining nine competitors as well as offering never-before seen hands and features from the World Series of Poker broadcasts.
Throughout the series, fans will be able to submit questions to their favorite pros via email, Twitter and Facebook. Fans will also be given an exclusive chance to participate in a sweepstakes where one lucky winner will experience the November Nine in a unique way.
The guest for the first show next Tuesday is Chris Moneymaker, the 2003 WSOP Main Event champion, with subsequent shows playing host to poker pros Daniel Negreanu and Joseph Hachem.
