ESPN's WSOP 2010 Coverage Begins Tonight!

Starting at 8:00PM EST tonight, ESPN and ESPNHD will be airing their coverage of the 2010 World Series of Poker*. Tonight's coverage features the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and players and fans will be glad to hear that perennials Lon McEachern and Norman Chad are behind the mic once again to cover the high-stakes action. The $50,000 Poker Players Championship features a high buy-in, but 116 players were willing to pony up the dough to prove their mettle in an eight-game mixed format with a final table played as No Limit Hold 'Em. The size of the field and large buy-in created a $5,500,000 prize pool with the top spot walking away with $1.5m.
The action at this year's Poker Player's Championship was especially exciting, with two Mizrachi brothers - Michael and Robert - fighting towards a final table that featured Daniel Alaei, David Baker, John Juanda and the from-left-field sensation that was Vladimir Schmelev.
Each Tuesday night ESPN is airing two hours of all new episodes of their
World Series of Poker through November 9th. That's when the November Nine return to compete for the world championship. Episodes will air in the 8-10 slots on Tuesday nights on July 27th through August 17th and move to the 9-11 slot on August 24th through November 9th.
