Final Table Also Set For WSOP Circuit Event in Atlantic City

The WSOP Circuit event in Atlantic City will wrap up this afternoon when the final table plays out the last few eliminations, taking the original 244-entrant field down to the eventual winner.

There were some notable players who came out to play and we got a little excited that they would go deep. These players included WSOP bracelet winner Robert Williamson III, WSOP Europe third-place finisher Matt McCullough, his fellow Team Bodog player Ari "BodogAri" Engel, celebrity poker player Montel Williams and Irish poker pro Andy Black.   However, none of them did, so for the second time today we find ourselves completely underwhelmed at the prospect of a final table. Oh well.

The final nine will battle it out for the $379,392 first-place prize, the WSOPC ring and a $10,000 seat into the 2008 WSOP Main Event.

Here are the final table chip counts:

Samuel Skolnik – 572,000
Feming Chan – 371,000
Eric Buchman – 340,000
Adrian Velez – 320,000
James Nelson – 210,000
John Racener – 210,000
David Fox – 200,000
Joseph Brooks – 160,000
Thomas Fee – 160,000

If for some reason you care to travel to the paradisaical Atlantic City for a major poker tournament as opposed to LA, Vegas, Barcelona, Dublin, Prague or pretty much anywhere else in the world, then the Bodog "Player's Choice" package is just for you. That's because if the land-based poker tournament has a buy-in of $10,000 or less, the $12,000 prize package will get you there and buy you into the event. Now, why you would choose AC over those other cities is beyond us, but again, it is your choice.
