Just a few days ago 560 players put up $10,000 each to buy into the 2007 WPT Borgata Poker Open, generating a $5.8 million prize pool. There are now only six left making up the WPT's televised final table, and they will all be vying for the almost $1.8 million first-place prize.

The most recognized name among the final competitors is poker pro Mike "The Mouth" Matusow. Coming off a successful summer in Vegas in which he finished second at the WPT Bellagio Cup III and cashed three times at the 2007 WSOP, he is looking to add to his growing list of accolades this year.

Current chip leader Roy Winston will be trying to hold off Matusow. He himself is no stranger to major tournaments and has two career WSOP cashes and two WPT cashes as well. Also sitting at this table is Canadian Haralabos Voulgaris, who is coming off a cash just about a week ago at the WPT Gulf Coast Championship. Joining them is Mark Weitzman, who, regardless of finish, will be adding his first WPT cash to his resume to go along with his ten career WSOP cashes.

The only two unknown entities at the final table are Heung Yoon and Eugene Todd, although neither one will remain unknown if they keep playing the type of poker that gets them through a star-studded field of 560 players.

Play resumes at 5pm ET and will continue until one of these players emerges victorious. Live updates can be found at CardPlayer.com.
