Five Diamond World Poker Classic Preliminary Event Updates

The Five Diamond World Poker Classic is still chugging along over at the Bellagio.
We're now two preliminary events and two days away from theWPT Doyle Brunson Classic Championship event and the pros are still out in force in this first series of tournaments. Here's a look at who has done what: Event No. 9 was a $3,000 buy-in No Limit Hold'em tournament that drew 302 players.
Online poker pro Kevin "beLOWaBOVe" Saul ended up finishing in second for $179,195. Other cashing in that event included Luke Vrabel, Joe Tehan, Alan Smurfit, Jared "TheWacoKidd" Hamby and Tony Cousineau.
The next tournament only drew 189 players but among them was contoversial poker pro and San Antonio lover Richard Lee, who took time off from his "gambling ring scandal" to cash in the $2,500 buy-in Event No. 10 for $5,195.
The $5,000 buy-in Event No. 11 is still underway and players remaining in the field include Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, Alex Bolotin, Kathy Liebert, Daniel Alaei and JC Tran. Stay tuned for more updates from the Bellagio here at the Bodog Beat.
