Well, with a $500,000 buy-in for the newest episodes of "High Stakes Poker," we knew there would be some serious money flying around, but $743,800 on one hand is just effing ridiculous.

Poker pro Patrik Antonius raised to $4,000 (of actual money) with As-Jd and was re-raised to $14,000 (of actual money) by 2005 WSOP Main Event champion Jamie Gold and his pocket kings. Everyone else got out of the way and Antonius called Gold's over the top move.

The flop came 3s-Qd-Th. Antonius checked, Gold bet $15,000 (of actual money) and the Finn called looking for wither an ace or a king to fill out his gut-shot straight draw. The perfect pot-building king came on the turn giving Gold a set and "Luckbox" Antonius an ace-high straight.

Antonius bet $45,000 (of actual money), Gold moved all-in for $341,500 (of actual money) and Antonius called, adding up to the history-making $743,800 (of actual money) pot. Antonius and Gold made a deal to play out the river three times at $250,000 (of actual money) per river card. On the first river, the one that would have decided the hand without the deal, the Qh hit giving Gold a full house and the new nickname of "Luckbox No. 2."

The second river card came a 3d for another full house and $500,000 (of actual money) for Gold. The final river of the 8s was Antonius-friendly letting him hang onto $250,000 (of actual money) of the pot. Just in case you were wondering all of the amounts bet on one hand of poker were real dollar amounts, other wise known as "more than we will see in a lifetime."
