At only twenty-two years of ago in his second World Series of Poker, online poker pro James "mig.com" Mackey already has one bracelet under his belt (last year in the $5,000 No Limit Holdem event) and he is now leading a field of the best the poker world has to offer into Day 2 of the most prestigious tournament in poker, the $50,000 WSOP HORSE event.

Mackey ended the day stacked at 214,000 just ahead of second place's Chris Reslock. Notable players breathing down his neck near the top of the leaderboard include Bill Chen, Erick Lindgren, Johnny Chan and Patrik Antonius. Team Bodog poker players had a rough night with Justin Bonomo slipping below average to 80,400 and David Williams busting out altogether, along with Phil Hellmuth and Amnon Filippi.

Only eight players busted out during the nine rounds of play yesterday, so 140 are returning when play resumes at 3pm local time. The prizepool has been announced and sits at an impressive $7.1 million with the winner walking with just a shade under $2 million, not bad for five days work.
