As Day 2 of the 2009 WSOP $40,000 Anniversary Special event gets closer to seeing the field burst the money bubble, Bodog poker pro is still lurking at the top of the leaderboard. For most of the day, he's been in second or third place, like a runner or biker drafting off chip leaders who have fallen back.

At the moment, he is comfortable sitting just a few thousand behind current chip leader Greg Raymer, who made a meteoric leap up the chip counts right after the dinner break courtesy of Steve Zolotow's stack. Chris Moneymaker went the opposite direction and went from top five after dinner to getting an early night just a couple of hours later.

Also up near the top are poker pros Lex 'RaSZi' Veldhuis, Ted Forrest, Sorel Mizzi, David Pham and Isaac Haxton. There are 31 players still out in the field and the rumor is that we will be playing down to 18 tonight, which means definitely reaching the money.

The $1,500 Omaha Hi/Lo 8-or-Better is still chugging along and has already dismissed almost 2/3 of the original field, leaving 324 out of the starting 918. We'd love to tell you who the chip leader is but it seems that PokerNews doesn't even know, so whatever. When we know, so shall you.
