The new season of the Latin American Poker Tour kicked off yesterday at the Ramada Plaza Herradura Conference Center in San Jose, Costa Rica and drew in 219 entrants. Leading the way at the end of the day with 38 players remaining is the awesomely-named Brit, Robert Woodcock.

The money bubble will burst at some point today and the field will most likely get down to the eight-person final table by the end of day. Stay tuned for more super-inspiring, thrilling and dramatic LAPT San Jose updates from the Bodog Beat.
