Lyle Berman has held the lead in the WSOP HORSE Championship for almost the entire day and is currently sitting at 603,000. An admirable feat considering it's about the toughest field imaginable.

While Lyle Berman might be best known as a cofounder of the WPT and helping bring about the poker boom in the U.S. with the introduction of hole card cameras, he’s also an accomplished poker pro with over $1.5 million in tournament winnings.

Breathing down his neck is Barry Greenstein with 595,000. Greenstein has also been hovering near the chip lead for most of the tournament.

Third place is enjoyed by Bill Chen with 435,000 while Huck Seed has made his way into fourth place with 420,000.

Still among the chip leaders is Team Bodog’s Justin Bonomo with 320,000. Close behind is Phil Ivey with 315,000, Daniel Negreanu and Eric Lindgren both with 300,000.

Previous chip leader Tom Dwan has taken some big hits and is now hanging on with 65,000.
