Online Poker Pro Hevad Khan Makes it 'Rain' at Foxwoods Prelim Event

The Foxwoods Poker Classic has been underway for a little over a week now with a series of smaller preliminary events in anticipation of the WPT championship event that begins the day after tomorrow. Last night saw the conclusion of Event No. 9, a $3,000 buy-in No Limit Holdem event that drew 192 players.
Emerging victorious was online poker pro Hevad "RainKhan" Khan, who faced off against 2006 WSOP Main Event final tablist Michael Binger for the title, eventually walking away with the $108,000 first-place prize.
Binger received about $80,000 for second place. Other notable players that have cashed in Foxwoods prelims so far include Tiffany Williamson, Kathy Liebert and David Singer.
The $10,000 buy-in WPT Foxwoods Poker Classic gets underway on Friday and is the last stop on the tour before the WPT World Championship.WPT online poker qualifiers.
