Bodog’s $100K Guaranteed online poker tournament once again gave players outstanding value for their buy-in last night when 558 players took their shot at the $100,000 prize pool. In a normal poker tournament the $109 buy-in would’ve created a prize pool of just over $55,800 but Bodog added the extra $44,200K to create the guaranteed prize pool.
Among the players taking advantage of this outstanding deal was Bodog regular Dahotshot who found himself heads-up with aletheia. After getting a bit of a lead on aletheia with 837,757.28 in chips against 557,242.72 he managed to get his money all-in pre-flop in a race where he was a slight favorite with pocket sevens against aletheia’s A-J off-suit.
The board favored Dahotshot when it ran 2c-5s-10d-7s-4h giving him a set on the turn and the victory.
