Only Four Bounties Remain at WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star

There were once many stars shining bright in the night sky of San Jose, CA, over the bright lights of the Bay 101 Casino, but alas, they have all fallen from their illustrious positions, all but four.

The WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star event is now down to a total field of 36 players and only four of them are the bounty-bearing "Shooting Stars" for which the tournament is named, Hoyt Corkins, Kathy Liebert, Paul Wasicka and Joe Sebok. Other notables still out in the melee include Vivek "psyduck" Rajkumar, Amnon Filippi, Marco "CrazyMarco" Johnson and that's about it.

The chip leader going into Day 3 is Michael Karam (570,500), followed by:
