Phil Ivey Leads Televised Final Table at WPT LA Poker Classic

Just before midnight last night and after a crazy long day that somehow managed to include a "cake break" to celebrate Yury Parad's 60th birthday, Wei Kai Chang was eliminated in seventh place to give us the six players who will make up the televised final table of the WPT LA Poker Classic.
Included among those six are several players making repeat appearances at a WPT final table, including a record-setting one.Phil Ivey not only holds an almost two to one chip lead going into the final six, but he is also setting a new record by going into his eighth WPT final table. Ivey has finished in almost every place but first in WPT events and is in a very good position to get that first victory.
Three other players also have WPT final table experience and will be trying to keep Ivey from his elusive win. Nam Le is heading into his fourth appearance, Phil Hellmuth his third and Charles "Woody" Moore his second.
Scott Montgomery and Quinn Do are at their first ever WPT final tables, but as Montgomery is sitting in second place right now, the pressure doesn't seem to be affecting him too much. Do is do-ing (hehe) OK but will need to make some moves early on to really feel comfortable.
We're still rooting for a Phil on Phil heads-up match because it would be a masterclass on heads-up tournament poker and entertaining as hell to watch. So, pray to whatever deities you need to so that this happens, for our sake.
