Bodog poker pro David Williams talked with RawVegas.tv a couple of weeks ago about his schedule for early 2008 and what poker tournaments he will be playing, and it looks like the two-time WSOP bracelet winner will be a busy boy.
At the end of this month, he will be hitting up the WPT World Poker Open at the Gold Strike Casino in Tunica. Then, literally four days later, he goes up to Atlantic City to play the WPT Borgata Poker Open, one of his favorite stops on the tour.
On the books for February is the WPT LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino, or what Williams affectionately refers to as "poker camp," followed by the WPT Celebrity Invitational. He will be heading out a little early to get in on some of the cash game action before the events actually start. Why does he love the side games at the Commerce so much? Last year he won $84,000 in one 33-hour session playing $100/$200 seven-card stud. Don't believe us? Watch the video, but Doyle Brunson himself said it's the most he's never heard of someone making that much money in one session playing seven-card stud at those stakes.
New world record? We think so.
Williams did not elaborate on his schedule after February so he would have something to talk about on his next video blogs. So, make sure to head over and stay caught up with Bodog's own world record-setting poker pro.
