Day 1A of the 2007 WSOP Europe £10,000 buy-in Main Event is now well underway, and Team Bodog has already been making a splash. Four of the eight Team Bodog members in town to play this event are seeing action today.

Bodog poker pro David Williams is at the Sportsman Casino and looking very much in the zone, as you can see in the above photo. He has already increased his stack considerably just a few hours into play and looks very comfortable.

Joining Williams at the Sportsman is Atanas Gueorguiev of Sofia, Bulgaria. A seasoned European player, the 36-year-old cashed in the EPT Grand Final this year and is fresh from a visit to Spain where he competed in the EPT Barcelona.atanas g day 1a wsop europe

Over at the Fifty Casino, Team Bodog qualifier Heather Wells is getting quite a bit of attention. The press is keeping an eye on her for more than just the obvious reasons, as she has already doubled-up by playing some great poker and is now sitting well above average.heather wells day 1a wsop europe

Sitting across the room from him is Jason Karka, who pulled the worst table draw of all the Team Bodog members. He found himself sitting down with 2004 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Raymer and WSOP bracelet winner Jeff Lisandro.

At the break Karka said, "I was nervous sitting down at that table. I mean are you kidding me? Then I played a few good hands and they both folded and now they're just human, like everyone else."jason karka wsop europe
