Team Bodog Poker Player Matt McCullough Busts Phil Hellmuth

Wherever poker pro Phil Hellmuth goes also go the cameras. Team Bodog members Matt McCullough and Matt Larsh found themselves in the eye of the media storm today when they arrived for Day 3 of the 2007 WSOP Europe Main Event. With only 10,500 in chips, it was very much expected that Hellmuth would only last a few hands.

We didn't have long to wait as just a few hands in Hellmuth re-raised a raise all-in only to have Team Bodog's own McCullough then re-raise him all-in. The original raiser moved out of the way and Hellmuth called. As he flipped over pocket 8s, he begged McCullough to have A-K so that they could get in a classic race situation. McCullough did not oblige and turned over pocket queens, putting him way out front.

The flop came with a queen and ended Hellmuth's WSOP Europe run. As McCullough was collecting his chips, the $50 side bet that he had with fellow Team Bodog player Matt Larsh floated across the table and landed on the felt before Hellmuth could even get up.

Just a few minutes later, the table next to theirs was broken. The other remaining Team Bodog player Daniel Zink sat down to Larsh's left and the infinitely more attractive Vicky Coren took Hellmuth's place next to McCullough.
