Tom \"DonkeyBomber\" Schneider at WSOP Circuit Event Final Table

The WSOP Circuit event in Tunica is down to the final table and 2007 WSOP Player of the Year Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider is one of the final nine (Bodog Beat Image)
Poker pro Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider is really good at this whole poker thing. After wrapping up the 2007 WSOP Player of the Year this past summer, Schneider went on to a fourth-place finish at the WPT Legends of Poker event and an eighth-place finish at the Caesars Indiana WSOP Circuit championship event to round out the year.
While still not really a household name, it looks like the man dubbed the "DonkeyBomber" is starting 2008 like he finished 2007, dominating poker tournaments. The final table of the WSOP Circuit event in Tunica is set and, not surprisingly, Schneider is one of the final nine hunting the $428,210 first-place prize.
He enters the final with a stack just above the average, but, as we all know, will most likely give the current chip leader, John Devia, a run for his money. This will be the first major tournament cash for Schneider this year and the first-ever for Devia.
Here are the chip counts at the final table:
John Devia - 929,500
Ryan Young - 521,000
Giovanni Maracci - 465,000
Tom Schneider - 422,000
Ben Sabrin - 417,000
Donald Nicholson - 325,000
Mark Garner - 213,500
Bart Tichelman - 164,000
Jordan Rich - 147,000
Play is underway at the Grand Casino Tunica and has the trademark tightness of a table stocked full of players with little major poker tournament experience. We expect Schneider to come out with guns blazing once he settles in a bit. Live updates and chip counts are available over at PokerNews.com.
