WSOP HORSE Championship Kind of a Big Deal

The dealers for the WSOP $50,000 HORSE Championship are the best of the best. If you think dealing at the WSOP is easy just imagine what it’s like to make a mistake while dealing to Phil Hellmuth after he’s taken a bad beat or Doyle Brunson after he forgot to drink his prune juice.
Add that to the fact that the HORSE dealers have to keep track of and deal five different types of poker (Holdem, Omaha, Razz, Stud and Eights or Better).
With so much on the line, so many top poker players in the field and so many different ways to screw things up, you know Harrah’s picked their top dealers for this gig.
Looking out into the field we see more familiar faces than people we don't know. From the vantage point of the media bleachers overlooking the tournament floor a quick glimpse reveals Huck Seed, and Doyle Brunson at the table closest to us. Next to that is a table with Bodog poker pro David Williams. Another Bodog pro, Justin Bonomo also sits nearby. And Scotty Nguyen is close enough to throw a beer to should he ask us.
Well, we just heard those famous words, “Shuffle up and deal.” The 2008 WSOP HORSE Championship is officially on.
The start of the HORSE event marks the end of betting on it in Bodog’s WSOP props section of their Sportsbook. Not to worry though, there’s still time to check out their WSOP props on the Main Event.
