2008 NBA Mock Draft

The 2008 NBA draft is starting to look like last year's: After picks 1 and 2, things get a little muddled.

Most experts expect talented point guard Derrick Rose to go No. 1 overall and for Michael Beasley to go No. 2, even if Miami trades the pick.

But the Minnesota Timberwolves are in a tough spot at No. 3.

They need a center, but no big man in this draft is worthy of the third pick. Do they take the best player available and draft USC guard O.J. Mayo? Do they reach and take scoring Stanford center Brook Lopez? Or do they trade the pick?

Seattle, the team below them at No. 4, is also interested in taking Mayo. If Minnesota takes him, what will they do?

What Minnesota does on Thursday, June 26 could impact the rest of the first round.
