Now that the 2009-10 college football season is over, one can look back at all the highs and lows of the past few months.
Clearly the ultimate high is that of the Alabama Crimson Tide winning the national championship last night.
The Crimson Tide were voted No. 1 in The Associated Press poll early today to earn their seventh AP title after beating Texas 37-21 in the BCS championship game.
Only Notre Dame has more AP national championships, with eight. Oklahoma also has seven.
For bettors, the team that provided the most highs were the Connecticut Huskies, as they posted an 11-2 ATS record.ӬӬAs for some of the lows. How about the whole mess at Cincinnati as they were trying to have a perfect season and get into the BCS title game. Brian Kelly bailed on his team at the worst possible time and left the team full of damaged psyches.
