With managers trying to utilize as many players as possible on their 33-man roster, it seems almost impossible to accurately project the probable result of the MLB All-Star game.
Betting on who is going to win has not been as hard in recent years. The obvious trend has been the dominance of the American League. The Junior Circuit has not lost to the National League since 1996, posting an 11-0-1 record during that span.
The AL is listed as a -110 favorite to win again tonight in St. Louis.
Bettors don't seem to have any concerns about effort in the MLB All-Star Game either. It is the most bet-on all-star game of the four main professional sports, with the NBA showcase a distant second.
So whether you think the actual game is a joke and means little, clearly those who like to wager take notice. Can the NL pull off the upset?
