2010 Training Camp Outlook: Denver Broncos

Our 2010 training camp outlook continues with the Denver Broncos, who have +600 odds to win the AFC West.
Despite a 6-0 start last season, Denver collapsed down the stretch and missed the playoffs. Now fans have no idea what’s in store for the second year of the Josh McDaniels experiment. He continued to blow things up and make bold moves, shipping top receiver Brandon Marshall to Miami and drafting quarterback Tim Tebow. Tebow—the much-hyped and maligned Florida product—won’t start immediately, but he’ll probably be showcased in some Wild Cat-type formation.
The Broncos were shredded on the ground last season. Jarvis Green and Justin Bannan are set to play defensive end, but they’re not world beaters; the linebackers need to step up, but it’s an undersized crew. The secondary is top notch but it’s an older group—it ran out of gas down the stretch and similar results in 2010 are likely.
