AFC Wild-Card Report: MCL Sprain to Sideline Pats Safety Harrison This Weekend

The Patriots learned Monday that their superstar safety, Rodney Harrison, could be sidelined for the remainder of the playoffs.

According to the preliminary diagnosis, Harrison suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee that is expected to keep the 13-year veteran on the sideline for the Patriots'  wild-card game  against the New York Jets on Sunday. Harrison suffered the injury after receiving what many of  New England's players  are calling a dirty block from Titans receiver Bobby Wade.

"He wasn't just trying to block me," Harrison was quoted as saying in The Herald. "He dove at my knees intentionally. He was trying to hurt me. The whole play was dirty."
