Kendry Morales looks to extend his career-best hit streak to 17 games tonight when the Los Angeles Angels continue their four-game road series against the Oakland Athletics.

Los Angeles has won four straight since Vladimir Guerrero and Torii Hunter were placed on the disabled list last Friday. A big reason for that is Morales, who has six RBI in the last four games.

The A’s are the only AL West team that the Angels have a winning record against. Los Angeles is 12-16 in division games.

Oakland is last in the AL with a .245 batting average and their 363 runs are the third fewest in the league.

Angels starter Joe Saunders will try to put aside his poor finish to the first half of the season. Saunders went 0-1 with an 11.57 ERA in his last three outings.

His opponent will be Trevor Cahill, who is 0-3 with an 11.37 ERA in his last three outings.
