Worlds will collide as celebrities, poker professionals and Internet qualifiers do battle for a share of the $750,000 up for grabs when the first episode of the Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker tournament airs on Saturday.

The opening salvo will be intriguing thanks to a small wrinkle — contestants at the Angelito table are the first Calvin Ayre Wild Card Poker participants to play under the aggressive blind structures designed for this tournament. Matt Savage — World Series of Poker tournament director since 2002 — has devised a timed ante increase to keep action moving.

How will the players react? What strategies will be employed? And, of course, which contestants are the ones to watch?
