Imagine if you fell into a coma just around the time the Beatles called it quits and didn't wake up until today. You probably wouldn't be surprised to see Kansas as the No. 2-ranked college football side in the nation and Missouri as No. 4. After all, the Jayhawks won a share of the Big Eight title in 1968, and the Tigers followed suit in 1969. So what's the big deal?
The big deal is that Kansas (11-0) and Missouri (10-1) haven't done anything but struggle since the boys "Let It Be." This Saturday, though, the two sides will meet in Kansas City to determine which team advances to the Big 12 title game. And if one of them wins that, it most likely means a spot in the BCS Championship Game.
