Boxing fans who dislike Floyd Mayweather have been saying for months that "Pretty Boy" is afraid to fight Manny Pacquiao. Unfortunately, it's starting to look like they are right.

Mayweather has let another chance to fight the WBO Welterweight champion go by, letting the July 17, 3 a.m. deadline put forth by top-flight Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum pass with no deal.

Though Arum has said they will be looking elsewhere for another opponent, he said if Mayweather comes back to the negotiating table during their search, they'd be willing to listen.

"If Floyd suddenly emerged we would not be opposed to doing the fight," Arum said. "While these negotiations are going on , if Floyd came to the table, that's the fight we want more than all others."

Although the super bout seems inevitable, looks like we'll have to wait a while longer.

"Floyd Mayweather is not saying he will never fight Manny Pacquiao and Manny Pacquiao is not saying he's not going to fight," Arum said. "There's always next year."
