Brett Favre, Jets Take On New England Patriots

The second week of NFL football kicks off today so be sure to find yourself a comfortable couch and a laptop with which to check scores.

In the first slate at 1:05 p.m., football fans can watch the reigning Superbowl champion New York Giants take on the St. Louis Rams or perhaps watch Brett Favre's ex-team, Green Bay, try their luck against the Detroit Tigers.

Also on the early schedule is an Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings tilt and many more.

Baltimore and Houston fans will have to wait to see their teams compete as their Sept. 14th-scheduled game was postponed until mid-November as the result of Hurricane Ike.

Later on in the afternoon fans can catch Favre in action on his new team as the New York Jets look to defeat the New England Patriots.

Oh great, a quarterback battle between Favre and Patriots' QB Tom Brady... Oh. Right. Too soon?
