Montreal got the early jump on Boston with a goal 10 minutes in, but it was all Bruins after that.
The Bruins scored one goal in the second period, and four in the third to beat the Canadiens 5-1 and force a game six. The Canadiens lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
Zdeno Chara grabbed first star with one goal on a power play at the 5:49 mark in the third period. Glen Metropolit, Phil Kessel, Marco Sturm, and Vladimir Sobotka each scored as well.
Despite giving up the early goal, Boston goalie Tim Thomas had a great outing. He stopped 30 of Montreal's 31 shots and withstood four power plays.
The Bruins won this contest despite being +205 underdogs in the contest. They get the opportunity to tie the series 3-3 as the next contest is at home in Boston.
