Celtics Fight Back to Beat Spurs

It wasn't looking good early for the Boston Celtics. After one quarter at San Antonio, the Spurs led 28-11. But the green team fought back on this most appropriate day to make it a 10-point game at half, a two-point affair after three quarters and, finally, they won the whole damn thing, 93-91. St. Paddy would be proud. And probably quite drunk.
Paul Pierce led the Celts with 22 points while Kevin Garnett added 21. For the Spurs, Manu Ginobili poured in 32.
Also of note, Ray Allen missed his second game in a row for Boston with a jammed left ankle.
Next up for the Celtics? Just some team from Houston that's won 22 in a row. That goes tomorrow.
