No Ray Allen, no problem.

The Boston Celtics have plenty of weapons to overcome the loss of one of their big three stars, particularly against a weaker team like Milwaukee.

Even though the Bucks were at home, the Celtics had little problem destroying them, 99-77, Saturday night. Boston covered the point spread, which was 9.5. The betting total fell under 208 points, thanks largely to the Celtics’ tough defense. They held Milwaukee to 34.1-percent shooting from the floor.

With Allen out with a bruised heel, Kevin Garnett scored 19 points and Eddie House added 17. Boston rebounded from a disappointing home loss to Utah on Friday night.

The Bucks have lost five straight.

In other NBA action on Saturday:

Orlando 122, Indiana 111: The Magic clinched a playoff berth at home thanks to 27 points from Hedo Turkoglu and another dominating performance from Dwight Howard. Superman had 18 points and 12 boards. Orlando just missed covering the point spread, which was 11.5.

New Jersey 117, Utah 115: The Nets beat the 5.5-point spread and paid a healthy +180 on the moneyline as they upset the Jazz in East Rutherford, N.J. Richard Jefferson hit the winning shot – a running jumper – with 1.5 seconds to go. He finished with 27 points.
